Help me find a new summer cocktail standard?

I love a good gin and tonic as much as the next guy, but I want to mix it up a bit. (Ahem.) What would you recommend for a good simple, summer, drink-on-the-porch cocktail that I can easily make at home?

Sorry for the delay, we wake up later since we bartend into the early am.
One of the best and oldest drinks for summer chillin' is the gin fizz also known as a tom collins. In a tall soda glass or pint, fill with ice pour 1.5oz of gin (2oz if you want it stiff) add sweet/sour mix (lemonade is good too) to about 2 inches from the top, then top with soda or sparkling water. Garnish with a lemon or lime wheel. This is a versatile mix and you can substitute vodka, rum, tequila, whiskey, etc for friends who don't care for gin! We can think of many other summer drinks, so if you need anymore ideas, let us know! Enjoy!
