Glad to be of help. Feel free to email me for hospital info or any other questions you have: nuttylibrarian at gmail dot com (yes, I was a librarian for ten years, nursing is a second career).

    Hey Lianne -
Huge thanks for these additional ideas. I am not familiar with Stone Hill but it sounds like it could suit my needs and interests rather well. I went through Hamden last time I was in Baltimore and was set back by the lack of space and green ... pretty tight rowhome feel. So I will HAPPILY check out this lil patch of country in the city . . . any idea whose listing the properties that are currently for sale? I'll be back through Baltimore in a few weeks and look forward to checking it all out.

    Again thanks.

    LIz-

GeeMan just passed along your message . thank you SO much for all your thoughts, information and ideas. VERY helpful in this info gathering stage of things. I am headed to Baltimore in a few weeks and will be sure to check out both areas - I too am a gardener and would feel quite lost without a decent patch of earth to tend so you managed to hit all of the big things on the head. trails, green space, gardening potential, community feel, and work ... Thanks for that ! and YES talk to me about hospitals won't you ... I'll take it as a very good sign that you are still at the hospital you started at seeing that there are plenty of options in Baltimore. And although long term my interest is in public health work I will probably start off in a hospital for sake of ease and familiarity.

    Again SO appreciate your feedback.

Liz - THANK YOU for your response. I've thought about Hamilton/Lauraville for her. I'm a big fan of the Clementine/Hamilton Tavern scene. Wish I'd known about it when I moved to town. I'll pass your words along...
