    Where is the best place to have a cocktail and listen to live jazz in Baltimore?

    Hiya.

    There is a place, on Loch Raven Blvd. between Towson and Baltimore City called NEW HAVEN LOUNGE.

    The area is a little dodgy at night, but if you go with a friend or two, you will be fine (mostly because you will have company). Don't worry, it's not "the ghetto".
    Anyway, it is in a little shopping plaza and I heard that they have some excellent acts there.

    You would never know the place existed; I just knew because I went once and I've heard the name thereafter on some of the jazz programs I listen to.
